Welcome to our house: a meeting house. Here we meet to talk about anything and everything: deepest faith, favorite music, extended family, precious friendship, scholarly work, ministerial vocation, playful imagination. Over the years, from 1990, we have met and taken the name for ourselves, the TRINITY GROUP.
We have sojourned together as a community of professors, preachers, chaplains, missionaries, and theologians all. We are all Christians, more or less Baptist, on the progressive end of the spectrum, but open to all that God brings into our lives.
This is our meetinghouse. You are welcome here: to listen and learn, to speak and teach, to question and answer, to write and respond, to give and take, and yes, to eat, drink, laugh and cry, and always to pray. But not all behavior is tolerated: mean-spiritedness, arrogance, unkindness or crudeness: find another house. But if you like thinking about things and interacting with thoughtful minds, pull up a chair and stay a while.
