I understand you will find colleges that are test-optional, but what are the which are GPA-optional? I did effectively on my SATs, but my GPA is not as high, so I'd like to apply to universities using my test scores just. Is that possible?
'The Dean' just isn't aware of any university that does not expect a senior high school bestessays review transcript from freshman applicants. (Some colleges do allow students to self-report grades initially, but will then request a transcript that is official verification after best essays acceptance.) So unless your senior school does not grade its students at all (that will be unusual but does take place), your grades will likely be needed, along with a cumulative GPA in the event your high school computes one — and most do. (also pupils who are home-schooled or who possess dropped out of senior high the best essay school and earned a GED is going to be anticipated to supply a transcript from whatever time they did spend in school.)
So that's the bad news. Nevertheless the good news is that admission officials are not going to consider only your cumulative GPA, but also on its makeup. Hence, if you tended to get grades that are great math and science but terrible grades in English and history (or vice-versa), your successes will not be lost in the admission staff bestessays review. Similarly, if you took a course that is especially grueling, they'll observe that too. Of course your freshman and sophomore grades had been awful but your junior and grades that are senior better, the sooner people won't carry a lot of clout.
